My Story
I didn’t come to this work from a place of curiosity. I came to it from a place of necessity.
There was a time when I was very sick, deep in a medical journey that felt confusing, overwhelming, and at times, frightening. My body was unraveling in ways I couldn’t understand, and I was constantly searching for answers that never came. Almost overnight, my life began to shrink.
I lost connection to friends. I stepped away from things I loved. Some days, it felt like I was losing myself. No one could explain what was happening. What began as physical symptoms became something more: emotional, mental, and deeply isolating.
What I didn’t realize at the time was how much stress was shaping everything.
The uncertainty, fear, and constant search for answers were creating their own layer of symptoms, and no one was talking about the nervous system.
So I made a simple decision: go to a different coffee shop every day for 30 days. It sounds small, but it changed everything. At first, it was hard. I didn’t feel well, didn’t want to be around people, and everything in me wanted to stay isolated.
But I kept going. I put my phone away, made eye contact, and let myself be part of the world again. Slowly, something shifted. I felt more present, more connected, more like myself, until one day it felt like a fog had lifted and I was genuinely starting to feel better.
Instinctively, I had started rewiring my brain.
I realized we may not always control what happens to us, but we have more influence than we think over how we experience it. The nervous system touches everything: health, emotions, relationships. When you work with it, things begin to shift.
This led me deeper into the science behind it: neuroplasticity. Today, I’m a certified health & well-being coach specializing in behavior change, trauma, and stress. But more importantly, I’ve lived this work.
What once felt impossible in my darkest moments now feels grounded. Helping others find that shift has become my purpose, and I’m deeply grateful for the path that brought me here.
